Understanding the Benefits of Slots- Part 2
The other thing about slots games is that they can be deceptive. When you go to a table game most likely the buy-in is going to be visible on the table. You know what you are getting into the minute you move up to the table. You can then decide whether or not the game is affordable for you. If it isn’t, there will be other options but you most likely are going to have a good estimate of how much you are going to end up wagering on the game. Normally if a game is more than five to seven-percent of your overall bankroll you should consider it too pricey to wager on. When you see a game, you pick the games that fit into your limits. The thing about table games though is that it is somewhat obvious to see what you are in the end going to invest in a game. On the other hand there are the slots. Slots games can be deceptive though. Consider that if a game costs “just” $1 to wager on per line, there are a lot of other factors to consider. If you want to activate more than one payline though, the costs could go up quickly. If the above game has ten paylines to it, then suddenly the game has a $10-per spin cost to it. Recent studies have shown that the average slots player can wager on average one-hundred times per hour. That means the above $10-per spin game suddenly turns into a $1,000 an hour game. This is where the deception of a game comes in. Though it started out as a $1-per spin game, now it is a $1,000 per hour game thanks to the other variables of a slots game. Not everyone is aware of the calculations needed when working with slots games because they automatically assume that the games are low-wager games.
This is why slot games are a major concern for many different experts right now. They believe that the games are addictive and people may discount this inadvertently due to their reputation. The games are considered to be the most innocuous on the casino floor and this alone could push more people than ever to start going overboard with them and fall into addiction problems.
