Variety is the Key to a Good Slots Parlor

    Wednesday, May 25th, 2011

There used to be a time when if you wanted to wager on the slots, you had to have a few locations on your radar. You may have to work with a few local land- based csinos to get all the gaming fun you wanted. Of course the online gambling world has been the answer to a lot of that though…if you go to a good online casino you are going to find plenty of games to play all in one location. This is the characteristic of online gambling right now. The online market is highly competitive and that means that you have plenty of options right now. The online market is also much more flexible than land- based gaming too. If a land- based casino wants to bring in new games it has a lot of planning to do. The casino’s operators have to decide on what games they want and then order it. It takes time to bring it in and planning on where to install it. Then there is troubleshooting to do. The entire process could take weeks. On the other hand, online casinos can add new games over the course of a few hours. The space issue isn’t a concern for gambling casinos that operate online. This is making it more possible than ever to offer huge varieties to the gaming public.

This variety is taking over for online companies and land- based gaming operators realized that they have to keep up to remain competitive. Land- based casino operators are pushing their own selections of gambling games. Slots are diverse right now and land- based gaming operators have hundreds of games at their disposal. If they are going to keep up with the online gambling world, they have to step up their own games in terms of variety. This is great news for gamblers because it means that they are going to have plenty of choices whether they are wagering in the online or the land- based marketplace. It is going to continue to grow too as the market develops. You can expect that at no point is the market going to take a step backwards due to how popular and how lucrative it is overall.

The Variation of Slots Games- Part 1

    Monday, March 28th, 2011

The slot games have at times been called deceptive. The reason is because sometimes the wagers are so low that they aren’t always showing you what actually is happening. For example, let’s say you decide to play in a top- dollar $50 buy-in poker tournament. You know that most likely you are going to need at least a few hundred dollars to play the full game if you decide to stay in. That means that you have to have a bankroll prepared to carry that amount of money. For the most part public perception when playing in a big-dollar poker or blackjack tournament is that you have to be financially prepared. Then there are the slots games. A lot of people categorize the games as “low wager” and this gets them into trouble. You have to look at the numbers with slots as you would with any other gambling game. For example, let’s say you play a game that boasts a “penny-wager” but has fifty paylines to it. A novice’s perception is that the game shouldn’t cost “that much” and most likely will be affordable. How much overboard can you really go with a “penny-per-spin wager”? You have to do the math though with the game. If the game has fifty paylines, what if you want to activate them all? What if the game is a progressive where you have to activate them all to be eligible for the top-dollar payout?

Take the above scenario with a penny-wager but on fifty lines. If you want to wager with just one payline then, yes- the wager will be only a penny. But if you want to activate all the fifty paylines then you are wagering 50¢ per spin. Considering that the average slots player can spin the reels one- hundred times an hour, you have to multiply that by one-hundred to get $50. If you want to activate all the paylines on the game, you have to be prepared to spend $50 per hour on the game. Although we began with a “penny slot” it how has turned into a $50 per hour game. Of course this is a modest example and some games are penny-possible games, but have the ability to expand accordingly. You have to be sure that you are watching out for the numbers and making sure you are wagering within your limits as a gambler. Although slots are considered “low wager” that isn’t always the case.

The Various Names of Slot Games

If you live under a rock then possibly you aren’t yet aware of the wonders of slot machine gambling. If you frequent a casino then you know that the slots are located in the parlor. It is different from the gaming floor and purposely kept separate. The gaming floor normally is higher-energy and you are going to hear from excited people and people who want to win big. The slots parlor is different. It has a different vibe to it. In the parlor you are going to see lines of games to pick from. A larger parlor can have thousands of machines, but smaller ones have at least thirty to fifty. This is going to give you a great selection as you pick where you want to wager. There are a lot of choices, so take our time. Walk up and down the aisles and see what the casino offers, what the wager requirements are and what the pay tables for each machine are. Remember that though machines may be set next to each other, that doesn’t mean they are the same. They could be vastly different in cost and payout. Be sure to at least read the basics of the machine before you invest in it.

Throughout history slots games have been highly lucrative and popular. They are known as “fruit machines”, “pokies” and “one-armed bandits” throughout the world. Regardless of what they are called though, they are random number games that are directed by an inner RNG, or random number generator. This is what makes them a lot of fun. There isn’t a strategy to employ when gaming on them, so all you have to do is bring your cash and have fun. Don’t worry about any practice or learning curve. The games are purely for fun. The good news though is that they can still pay out considerably. In today’s market gaming operators are pushing for bigger and better returns for all games—and that luckily includes slot machines. If you want to get the big payout you can still find it relatively easily in the market. Check with some of the biggest slots parlors and then enjoy your gaming experience. Once you try slots, you are most likely going to stick with them time and again.

Sorting Through the Long List of Games

    Sunday, October 31st, 2010

If you go to a slots gaming floor, be prepare to be dazzled. In particular if you visit a newer casino you are going to find a huge array of games to pick from. The best thing to do when picking games is to focus on what you want as a gamer. If you want the big win—to maximize how much you can bring in, then consider starting with the progressive games. These are the games that are networked together. For example, a small network may be three or four games networked together in one casino. The operators have picked their most popular games and joined them. .When you wager on the game you are going to see that ticker moving up quickly. The reason it does this is because every time you or another gambler wager on the slot machine, part of that wager goes directly to the pot. So for example, if your maximum wager is $10, the casino could set $1 of that total to go to the jackpot. Consider that if there are five gamblers at networked games all wagering $200 per hour that means that the jackpot is rising at $1,000 per hour. Consider if the network is huge though—some casinos network games over a geographic area together and this is where the payouts reach the millions. This is why so many gamers look after these games so readily.

If you go to a slots casino just to have fun, then consider testing out a few games to find out which ones you like best. Remember that in any good online or land based casino you are going to find huge amounts of games to pick from. Whatever theme you like and whatever wager you can afford, you are going to find a game that features both. It shouldn’t be difficult to hone in on the perfect game. If you don’t know what you want, then play the free games and see what style at least you enjoy the most. Once you do, then continue to test out new games. They are being released rapidly in the market today and that is great news for any gambler.

The Variety of Slots Gaming and Wagering

    Sunday, October 10th, 2010

If you are an avid slots player then most likely you love the games. They are varied and there are so many different options that they fit into any bankroll. Part of the draw of the games is that they are so varied financially. If you have a big bankroll you can find larger-wager games that fit into your financial goals. On the other hand if you don’t have a large bankroll and need an affordable game, you can find slots to play. Slots also come in various styles and themes so whatever your preference is in gaming, you are most likely going to find it with these games. The one drawback of slots though is that they have a relatively short shelf life. This means that most games can be played a few times and then they are considered to be “old” by gamers. An avid gamer can take as little as a half-hour to play through a new slots game and decide whether or not he or she wants to continue playing it. Even iSlots have a shelf life that is limited. Sure they come with intricate choices throughout, but someone who plays them for an hour or so, probably is going to exhaust the choices and already know what to expect as they continue playing. This can take the excitement out of the games.

Online developers are working hard to keep up with the slots market, but it is getting more difficult. Gamers are becoming more and more sophisticated. This means that it is taking them less time to get through games and boredom is setting in much quicker. Gaming developers have to continue to push the bounds of online games to keep up with the market and keep slots gamers interested. They are so far doing a great job of it, but in the future it could prove to be more of a task. Though there are unlimited themes, there are limits to what a slots game can do. Even a nine-reel game with a hundred paylines can only do so much. The good news though is that developers recognize the attraction of slots and are pushing hard to develop as many as possible for the market to enjoy.

The Different Types of Slots- Part 2

    • Progressive slot machines. These are the games that come with the huge payouts. You have probably seen them advertised. They showcase some huge payout and tell about how it is “growing by the second!” These games are the ones that a lot of gamers go after. They offer life-changing payouts. The games are built via networks. A casino will put together a network that is either on a gaming floor, a group of casino floors or a large geographic area. If the network is just made of three or four machines on one casino floor, then that may grow the payout in small increments. The ending payout may be a few hundred dollars– depending on how popular the casino and game are. A mid-level progressive game is one that brings together a few games on two or three casino floors. These get a little bigger. They connect three or four games at one casino with three or four games at a few other casinos. It may give a total of sixteen to twenty machines, but this is enough to push the jackpot to huge levels if they are popular enough. This traditionally have payouts in the higher-hundreds or low thousands, depending on the wagers. Finally, there are the huge progressives. These are the ones that connect machines over huge geographic areas. They are the ones with the million-dollar or above gaming payouts. These come together to award one lucky winner with a huge dollar amount, securing them front page stories on gaming newsletters. Everyone wants to get in on the progressives, but they are less commonly hit than regular games. Of course the life-changing payouts are notable, but if they were awarded every day, they wouldn’t be such a big deal in the market. If you love the chance at a big win, then test these games out. There is one caveat though– with progressive slots gaming you have to be ready to wager the maximum coins, or all the paylines. This is why progressives can get pricey. If you have a limited bankroll these may not be the opportune games for you.

Regardless of which games you choose to play- the straight slot games or the progressive slot games- know that slots are a lot of fun. You are going to have a great gaming experience with them. Just be sure you are aware of the wager requirements of progressives and then choose wisely.

The Different Types of Slots- Part 1

    Tuesday, October 5th, 2010

In the world of gaming, slot machines are getting more and more complicated. Ever gambling casino is working to build its games. A short time ago, casinos were focusing on expanding more intricate games like poker and blackjack. They were trying to capitalize on these games in the hopes of bringing in more money. Slots games were thought to be simpler games. This couldn’t be farther from teh truth these days. Slots are being advanced just as quickly as other games. In fact, gaming companies are workign on them specifically because they know the popularity of the games and how many people are clammoring for new games with added bonus features. If you are in the market for a game, then consider how many different types are out there. They nolonger come just in the 3-reel variety. Today’s gaming market is pushing the limits of what games can do and that includes slots games. Here are the different styles available in today’s market:

    • Straight slot games. These are the games that pay out according to a strict pay schedule. They pay the same amount everytime you get one specific combination. These are the simplest games to find and they are normally where gamers first start their slots game life. There are no big calculations here– it’s strictly random. If you get the winning combination, you get the winning payout. For example, a machine will have a pay schedule that says if you play with one coin and get a winning combination, you win $500. If you play with two coins, you win $1,000 and if you play with three coins, then you get $1,500. This never changes and is considered to be standard in the game. You are going to find a wide range of games that are straight slots. They come in a variety of themes and wager requirements. Regardless of your current bankroll, you are going to find a game that comes with the wager requirement you need. That is the best thing about games today– their variety is widespread and exciting. Even straight slot machines are showing promise in terms of development and are much more advanced that they were just a few short months ago.

    Slots Gaming Offers Huge Variety

    Thursday, September 9th, 2010

If you think you have played slots games for a while, you may be getting to the point of boredom. That isn’t uncommon in the market. Normally games are repeats of other games, but more intricate. Take a look at some of the most popular games out there and no doubt in a few months after their introduction, there is a new generation of the same game. Online gaming developers know that if they find a good game that attracts customers, the best thing to do is keep that blueprint, but make it better. This is great news for the average slots gamer because it means that boredom won’t be a problem. When you have tens of new games entering the market with new features and bonuses it is not easy to get tired of gaming.

The one thing that does pose a problem for slots gamers is repetition. Let’s face it—with a slots game there is only so much you can do. There are a finite number of possible spins you can make and a finite number of outcomes. The games are built on probabilities and the amount of them you get due to the combinations available. Sure if you are playing a 100-payline game you are going to have more options, but the overall game is still going to have a finite number of choices for you to pick. Even a great bonus game has a limited number of selections. The bonus game is the one you have access to if you make a certain combination. Normally it is completely different from the base game and you have choices to make. For example, you may have three boxes and have to pick one for a prize. Or you may have five chances to guess what is behind a door…these give you the chance then to win an additional multiplier or free spin option. Slots games are a lot of fun, but they are definitely games that can get boring. Be sure to move around with your slots gaming and check out the latest games out there. The market is moving quickly and bringing new games in at lightning speed—check them out for the best gaming sessions possible!

Then there are the bonus feature slots. One great one is Lucky Charmer Feature Slots game. This game has a second screen bonus feature slot. It’s a lot of fun - if you win a chance in the bonus round you must choose between three different musical pipes once the Lucky Charmer plays the one of your choice. The resulting objects rising out of the baskets determine your winnings. The King Cobra on the third pay line activates the Feature Round, and also acts as a wild symbol for triple cobras. This slot machine is definitely worth playing. This is a MicroGaming game and the company is known for their premiere software and outstanding gaming abilities. To try this game visit Roxy Palace, Crazy Vegas, Vegas USA Online or King Neptune’s online casinos.

Then there are the progressive jackpot slots. These are where you can walk away with some good cash payouts. Major Million Progressive Slot game is one outstanding progressive game. You can find this game at any of the MicroGaming casinos. Major Millions is a three reel, three payline game where the jackpots start at $250,000.00. To get the progressive you will have to bet the maximum amount. Remember to play all lines so you can win the huge payout.  Progressive games are great because of the payout potential but remember that due to their payouts being so large, they don’t hit as often as other slots. You can play the Major Millions Progressive Slots game at Captain Cook’s, Golden Tiger and Jackpot City online casinos.

Any slots player should be well versed in the different types of slots and know what to choose for what purpose. Each one has something different to offer and has a great gaming experience to go along with it. Look at your bankroll and what you really want from a slots game and then decide which one works best for you. In today’s competitive market the gaming quality is normally pretty advanced and companies are putting more and more focus on serving the customer. It’s a great time to get involved with online gaming and enjoy how far the industry has come.

You Can’t Beat Slot Machine Variety- Part 2

The next type of slot game to look at is the multi-line slot game. If you want to check out a good one, look at 5-reel Drive. This is a fun and colorful slot machine with 9 paylines and a driving theme complete with fast food fair, police cars, fuzzy dice and drivers on the road. A winding road sign is used as a wild symbol and it will complete any combination, except for scatter payoffs which happen when 3 or more squad cards appear on the reels. It’s a fun game with decent paytables. The thing with multi-line slots though is that the maximum bets can jump quickly if you aren’t careful. Remember to set your bankroll and be strict! Don’t let yourself get caught up in the game and go overboard. If you want to try 5-Reel drive, check out Royal Vegas, First Web, River Bell or Roxy Palace online casinos.

Next there are the 5-reel slots games. Without a doubt one of the best games out there in the 5-reel category is Thunderstruck. It is a great slot machine offering an outstanding bonus feature. In this game you can win a free spin bonus round with a three times multiplier. Thunderstruck has 5 reels and 9 paylines. The minimum coin size is 1¢, and the biggest coin size is $1. It is possible to play up to 5 coins per line. If you manage to get 3 or more Rams, the scatters, then you get 15 free spins. It’s during these free spins that you can get the free spin feature again - giving you 30 free games in total. All free games are played at the bet level that the feature was won on and it pays to be betting big when you hit the free games. Another advantage though is that all wins on the free games are tripled. Plus, if you hit a wild Thor symbol your win is multiplied by 6. This can lead to some great payouts in the bonus game - up to $150,000. After every win you can try to double or quadruple you win by clicking the gamble button. On the gamble screen you can choose either red or black to double your win or try to pick diamonds, clubs, hearts or spades for a 4 times win. Overall this is a great game to try because of its bonus game and the amount of extras you get. You have numerous chances to extend your game play and can drastically increase your chances of walking away with a win as a result. To play Thunderstruck go to Golden Riviera or River Niles online casinos.
