Though race track operators and owners have put together huge bonuses and races, that has done little to reinvogorate the market. Now, racetracks are making a pitch for bringing slot machine gaming to their facilities and the new name is a racino. Race tracks are hoping that the new racinos will bring in patrons with the added benefit of not only watching new races, but also playing slot machines while they are there. It can benefit the race tracks and many are pushing for the approval to bring them to their businesses. Without the added revenue from slot machines, many race tracks will have to close down.
