How to Play a Progressive Slots Game »

Betting the Payout in Slots Can Pay Off

If you are looking for a strategy when it comes to playing online slots, one is to refuse all payouts and put any money back into the game. The purpose of this strategy is to play as much money as possible. The reasoning is that a player who loses as much as possible, will eventually come up with a bigger win based on the payout percentage of the machine. For example, if you play at a slot machine with a 97% payout, then you are eventually going to reap the benefits of a win. The longer you wager, the bigger that win is going to be and the more you’ll walk away with.
Now this theory has been around for a while, but the reality of this strategy is that it is a risky one. Think about it—in order to take full advantage of the theory, you have to keep wagering until you win…even if you are on a losing streak. That means that your amount of loss could reach unparalleled proportions if you aren’t careful. You could go well over your bankroll quickly.
The only benefit of this strategy is if you are playing slots on a game that has the gamble feature for all wins. If you find a game then, you have to keep your small wins separate. When you have enough, you use the gamble feature of the game. This gives you the chance to increase your wins by 2x or 4x. Ideally when you do, the higher amount will bring a greater return. In theory this is a good idea, but you shouldn’t try to use it all the time. Be careful with this strategy though. It is easy to go overboard with it and lose more than you planned to. The real power comes with a big bankroll. If you do have a large bankroll, then you can try the refusing wins strategy and see if you find more of a payout. It takes some discipline to keep on denying wins, but if you do, you may find that you get a return when you are done playing.
